National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Council centrally regulates academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and eleven other structured courses of study that are imparted through its wide network of Academic Chapters (affiliated Institutes) all over India, viz Central Institutes of Hotel Management, State Government institutes and Institutes in the PSU as well as private sector.
Eligibility for Admission to B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration Program:
Hospitality & Hotel Administration Program at Ambala IHM, a renowned hotel management college in Ambala, Haryana, specific eligibility criteria must be met. Aspiring candidates should possess a minimum qualification of 10+2 from a Senior Secondary Education board or its equivalent.
The Upper Age limit is 22 years for General / PH and 25 years for SC / ST candidates as of 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years.
Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations can appear in JEE for being considered on a provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the concerned Institute.
Verification of the facts included in the original certificates or documents that the applicants must present will be a requirement for admission. The decision of NCHMCT regarding eligibility and admission shall be final. Even after admission to the best Institute if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information or false testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his / her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.
